Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of Amphora. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
Amphora provides calendar, project-information, document-processing, email-ingestion, synchronisation, and AI-assisted features. Features may change as the service develops. You are responsible for the devices, internet access, calendar clients, and third-party accounts needed to use the service.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your email account, devices, credentials, and calendar passwords secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of calendars, files, emails, project information, and other content you provide. You grant Amphora a limited licence to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You must have the right to provide the content and must not use Amphora to infringe another person's rights or break the law. Calendar and project content can include information about other people; you are responsible for using that information lawfully.
4. Connected services
If you connect a third-party service, you authorise Amphora to access and process the permitted data to provide the connection. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms and may change, suspend, or revoke access. You can disconnect optional integrations through the available account controls or by contacting us.
5. AI-assisted features
AI-generated extractions, answers, and suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Review important dates, locations, fees, travel details, and other consequential information against the source. Amphora's conversational AI proposes calendar mutations for your approval, but you remain responsible for reviewing and accepting them.
Do not rely on Amphora as the sole source for emergencies, safety-critical scheduling, legal deadlines, or professional advice.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls or usage limits, probe it without permission, upload malicious material, access another person's data without authority, use it for unlawful activity, or resell access unless we agree otherwise.
7. Subscriptions and payment
Paid features, prices, billing intervals, taxes, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You may cancel through the billing controls provided; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Except where law requires otherwise, charges already incurred are non-refundable.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, third-party failures, and evolving product requirements may affect availability. We may modify or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice where a change materially reduces paid functionality.
9. Amphora's rights
Amphora and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, design, branding, and documentation, excluding your content. These terms do not grant permission to copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit those materials except where applicable law permits it.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Amphora at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to legal requirements, address non-payment, or deal with a material or repeated breach of these terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make additional implied guarantees about fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy of AI output or third-party data.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Amphora is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or losses caused by content or instructions you provide, third-party services, or your failure to review important information. Any other liability is limited to the amount you paid for Amphora during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or security requirements. We will give reasonable notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
